What to Expect During a Corporate Mobile Fleet Valeting Visit

First time arranging mobile fleet valeting? Here is exactly what happens before, during, and after an MMCC visit to your premises.

If your organisation is considering mobile fleet valeting for the first time, you probably have practical questions. What do the technicians need? How long does it take? What happens to the keys? Do employees need to do anything?

Here is a straightforward walkthrough of the entire process.

Before the Visit

Fleet Audit and Schedule Design

Before any valeting takes place, MMCC conducts a fleet assessment. This covers:

  • Vehicle count and types: Cars, vans, SUVs — each vehicle class affects timing and pricing
  • Parking arrangements: Where vehicles are located, whether they move during the day, and how technicians will access them
  • Security requirements: Site access protocols, sign-in procedures, and any restricted areas
  • Service frequency: Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly depending on fleet usage
  • Service level: Basic, Full, or Ultimate valet for each vehicle or group

This information is used to design a schedule that fits your operations. The goal is maximum vehicles serviced with minimum disruption.

Employee Communication

If the service includes employee personal vehicles, MMCC provides communication materials and access to the booking portal. Employees can schedule their own vehicle, select their service level, and receive confirmation — all without involving HR or facilities.

During the Visit

Technician Arrival

MMCC technicians arrive at the scheduled time with all equipment and supplies. There is no need for your premises to provide water, electricity, or drainage. Everything required for waterless valeting is self-contained.

Technicians carry identification, are DBS-checked, and follow your site’s access and safety protocols.

The Valeting Process

Each vehicle is serviced individually. The process for a Basic Valet typically follows this sequence:

  1. Pre-inspection: A quick visual assessment to note any pre-existing damage or issues
  2. Exterior clean: Waterless solution applied panel by panel, wiped with clean microfibre cloths using straight-line technique to avoid swirl marks
  3. Wheel and tyre treatment: Wheels cleaned and tyres dressed
  4. Interior clean: Vacuum, dashboard wipe, console and controls cleaned
  5. PureShield application: SiO₂ ceramic protection applied to exterior surfaces
  6. 25-point inspection: Lights, tyres, wipers, fluid indicators, and bodywork checked
  7. Digital report: Condition notes and photos uploaded to the fleet management system

A Basic Valet takes approximately 60 minutes per vehicle. Full Valets take 90 minutes. Ultimate Valets take around 3 hours.

What Employees Need to Do

For company fleet vehicles: nothing. Vehicles are serviced in the car park. If keys are required, a secure key handover protocol is agreed during the setup phase.

For employee personal vehicles: the employee simply books their slot via the portal and ensures their car is in the designated area at the scheduled time.

After the Visit

Digital Reporting

Fleet managers receive a service report showing which vehicles were completed, any condition issues noted, and cumulative data including water savings and service history.

Ongoing Schedule

The service continues on the agreed rotation. New vehicles are added to the schedule as they join the fleet. Departing vehicles receive a final pre-return valet to minimise lease-end charges.

Support and Adjustments

If frequencies need changing, additional services are required, or the fleet composition changes, adjustments are made without contract renegotiation. The service adapts to your business, not the other way around.
