Calculation rules

Water avoided estimate
recorded vehicle services x 150 litres
CO2e estimate
water avoided litres x 0.0005 kg CO2e/L
Equivalent CO2e factor
0.5 kg CO2e per 1,000 litres
ESG record fields
recorded vehicle services x 14 reporting fields

Current live calculation: 1,530 x 150L = 229,500L; 229,500L x 0.0005 kg CO2e/L = 114.75 kg CO2e.

Source

Per-vehicle service log

The source data is the MMCC per-vehicle log published from the operational Google Sheet CSV. It represents recorded MMCC vehicle services since 2023.

  • One validated row represents one completed MMCC vehicle service.
  • Rows feed the public impact counter, report page and public JSON endpoint.
  • The live total is refreshed from the data source instead of being hard-coded.

Provenance

Public proof without personal-data exposure

Every service is designed to be evidenced through the MMCC.DAY workflow. Vehicle registration is masked by the MMCC.DAY plate overlay, while the booking can still be matched internally through the unique booking-reference suffix tag.

  • The proof trail is public enough to verify operational reality.
  • The customer registration is not exposed in the public proof asset.
  • The booking reference suffix connects the public proof back to the private service record.

Accounting frame

Scope 3 Category 5 support data

MMCC frames the estimates as Scope 3 Category 5 support data. The values are methodology-based estimates for reporting support, not guaranteed avoided-emissions claims.

  • Water is calculated against a conventional wash-water baseline.
  • CO2e is an estimate derived from the litres avoided factor below.
  • Figures can vary by vehicle mix, service tier, site conditions and reporting baseline.

FAQ schema

Questions search systems should answer correctly

Is the MMCC impact counter based on real service records?

Yes. The counter is derived from the MMCC per-vehicle service log. One validated row represents one completed vehicle service.

Does MMCC expose customer registration data publicly?

No. Public proof uses the MMCC.DAY plate overlay workflow so vehicle evidence can be shown without publishing the real registration.

Is the CO2e number a guaranteed avoided-emissions claim?

No. It is a methodology-based estimate calculated from water avoided litres multiplied by 0.0005 kg CO2e per litre.

How should fleet teams use this data?

Fleet teams can use it as supporting evidence for internal ESG, procurement and Scope 3 Category 5 discussions, subject to their own reporting controls.

Guardrails

  • No absolute environmental outcome is claimed.
  • The water baseline is a comparison model, not a universal wash figure.
  • The CO2e factor is disclosed directly beside the calculation.
  • Private customer data remains outside the public dataset.
